Hi Laura. I just wanted to thank you for your help the other week. Sushi is SO much better! We had company over last Saturday night and not only was he less scared (and didn't hide under the bed) but he also came out to show his favorite trick! he pulls his own treats out of his treat jar.

Anyway, thanks again! - Lisa

Hi Laura,

You gave a reading for me and my cat Thumper a few months ago and I just wanted to update you on his condition.
You helped me to understand what was going on in his mind during his very sudden and aggressive episodes. In the past few months, we've done a lot. In May, even though I don't usually agree with this procedure, we had him declawed in front. It was a very hard decision to make, but considering we weren't having any luck yet we thought it best to at least protect ourselves and others with that.
I did a lot of research of my own into his problems. We went to a neurologist (at a facility that also includes homeopathic vets). I'm no vet, but I am a good researcher, and most everything pointed to psychomotor seizures, a type of epilepsy that doesn't show any physical signs of seizure, but does happen in the brain. The neurologist agreed with me after performing a few tests and put him on Phenobarbital. Unfortunately, with this type of epilepsy, you can't diagnose it unless the animal is actually having an episode and you can hook him up to an EKG, so we start with this. If he has anymore episodes with the same severity, we know it isn't epilepsy and we move on to something else. If he doesn't, or he does but with less intensity, we're on the right track with this medication.
You really helped me do this research intelligently. Without your translation of his thoughts I wouldn't have had as much info going into this as I do. I'm a very emotional person, to a fault sometimes, and I was worried these constant vet trips and meds would break Thumper's spirit, but he's just a peppy and tenacious as ever. He's still him, which is a blessing, especially since this drug is really hard core.
I hope we've found the answer, or at least have gotten close. Still no luck with intregrating him with Soda, the border collie, but it's more because I have such emotionally upset energy that I don't want to do it until I can project something more positive. It's hard not to look at them like they're my babies!
Anyway, I hope this finds you well. Thank you so much again for your help. I know you must face a lot of adversity with what you do (I face a lot just because I believe in it!), but it truly is a wonderful gift, and you are showing it so well.

-Laura G. (Thumper the cat and Soda the border collie's mom)

Hi, Laura,

I have been telling everyone I know that your visit was one of the best gifts I have ever given myself and my furry family. Watching you communicate with my kitties was like watching Magic. One of my favorite moments was watching Mollie sitting by the corner of the couch looking into your eyes, at peace with you. (My friends have never seen her because she goes under the bed). And, I loved Ellie asking you if your Mom is an animal, and Freddie telling you he could hear you with his whole body. Our feeling tone is so different--like the kitties and I are a team. Mollie seems happier, and so am I. On Sunday I was gone most of the day, accidentally left the office door open, and everything was fine (she didnt pee in the office)

I am just so grateful and excited, and feel very blessed to have found you.

Thank you again, R.

Hi Laura,

Just wanted to give you a quick update on the critters after our talk last week! I am SO happy to report that Scrimmy has started using the litterbox again! This weekend, I bought some new cat food as Scrimmy requested (Weruva brand) and when I got home last night, I promptly opened up a can for the kitties. Scrimmy absolutely loved it and licked his bowl clean...about half an hour later, I saw him walk into the laundry room and lo and behold, I heard him scratching around in the litter! I went in there after he was finished and he had pooped in the litter box for the first time in months! Today when I went home for lunch, I saw that he had peed in there, too! He has not used the litter box at all in about a month now...you cannot imagine how thrilled I am! Additionally, after the cats ate last night, they both ran around like kittens - Cubby's lethargy seems to have disappeared! I have also been making sure to do the other things they requested - Cubby has her own cushion on my bed, and Scrimmy's been getting to play with a string. Everyone's been getting along and has seemed really happy!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart - I was really at a loss about how to deal with Scrimmy's litter issues and I finally feel like everything is going to be okay. You have a wonderful gift and I feel blessed that I got to "talk" to my animals! I really enjoyed getting to hear about life from their point of view (who knew they would be so funny?) and I feel much better equipped to care for them now. Feel free to share this if you like...I've been telling everyone I know!

Much love,
Jenna, Scrimmy, Cubby and Hazel

P.S. I have been massaging Hazel's shoulder as you suggested and she really seems to like it...we haven't gotten to work on the calming exercises on walks yet (been raining every day!) but we are looking forward to trying them out. Thanks again!

Laura,

Thank you again for sharing your gift with Billy (African Grey Parrot) and me. It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed our visit. Things seem to be going well softer hits and more calm interaction.

Thanks Again, Terri

TESTIMONIALS

Hi Laura,

Well, Maddi has been much calmer since you spoke with her. She doesn't spend her time searching the skies for flies. I think your reassurance that we will not hit her with a flyswatter has done the job. I had been telling her that, but your words really meant a lot to her.

Thanks a lot for your help, Jere

Laura, She is doing great. She has been a happy cat again. We both LOVE the new cat litter "world's best". No spraying at all, it is so wonderful to live in my house again without the smell. I can't thank you enough. I loving telling the story of how you helped us. Thank you so very much from both of us.
God Bless you
Tammy and Pissant

Dear Laura,
We met yesterday at Aloha Dog Grooming. You listened to Lammy for Eloise and me.
I have to tell you that I see Lammy in such a different light now... She really does have a mind and thoughts.
I know, duh!
But having you talk to her and watching you do it was very inspiring.
Thank you again for sharing your gift with us.
With love and blessings,
Linda

Hello Laura!

I just wanted to update, and thank you. After our appointment I had Will adjusted by a chiropractor, where he found 4 misplaced vertabrae in his neck.
I also feel that he and I are really starting to understand each other, now that I know what I'm listening for. He is trying very hard to be brave outside and focus in the show ring ( we just won our first recognized show and are preparing for the pinto world competition in 3 weeks!) While I am trying very hard to focus on what I am hearing from him, as well as other animals around me.

I feel maverick, and can pick out words... and feelings he sends my way. Thank you for helping us;
Again thank you for all of your help,
Ashley, Will and Maverick

TESTIMONIALS & UPDATES ON ANIMALS FEATURED ON THE TRIBUNE

Hi Laura,
You have given me a new appreciation for my animals' thoughts, concerns and the humor they can share!
Here are some changes I have made, based on your conversations with my cats:

A change in food so that Twisted Sister does not have itchy skin anymore.

Six Pack asked for a "pocket bed" under the bed in my room. I put a small, fluffy folded cat comforter under the bed. She sleeps in it all day long!

Whiz Bang said the catwalk was too slippery. I attached carpet to it. Now the cats spend more time on it and Twisted Sister actually runs sprints up there!

Whiz Bang has stopped annoying Twisted Sister and they spend more time together than before.

Six Pack does not annoy Twisted Sister as often as she used to. When I point out their similarities, like all the cats like to lay in the sunshine, Six Pack is impressed with the concept.

Whiz Bang is experiencing pain in his neck or back. He has an appointment with a chiropractic vet this week.

Party Time has a very sensitive and nervous personality. I am arranging a session with a horse massage therapist who can do Tellington Touch.

Thanks for your insight! I am practicing my animal communication skills every day!
All the Best,
Sheryl
