MICHAEL TALKS ABOUT HIS BROTHER IN HEAVEN

micheal.kay.at.jpgMichael's brother, Brylle (older dog in house), died recently. Michael says, “When your body gets put away all your meanness goes out of you. I see him (Brylle) all the time, he jumps over the fences and the gate. We play together and he didn’t die, his body just got put away. What is cool about having a friend on the other side is when I want to tell mom something, I just tell Brylle and then it gets to mom faster. Brylle told me that I am not going to die for 200 years and that is how long me and mom will be together. I asked Brylle when I was going to go and my body gets put away because I really like my body – Brylle did not like his body at the end.”

DANTE ON HUMANS

dantelevin.at.jpg
Dante said to me, "Before I talked to you I just thought humans were a different species than dogs and that they didn't have a clue. Now I know humans just know different things than dogs."

BOOGIE

BOOGIE%20VERIZON%20PHONE%202009.jpgThis is Boogie. I had the honor to meet with him the week before he died of cancer. He was stoic and brave. One of his last request was, "Can my dad (person) carry me down to the beach?"
My prayers and and love are with Boogie's dad (person). One of the best doggie dad's ever...I am sure Boogie would agree!

CURIOUS GEORGE

bs%20curious%20george.at.jpgGeorge asked me, "Can you touch the stars?" I told him I wasn't sure and asked him if he could touch the stars. George replied, "I think I could if my mom (person) would let me climb up on the roof".

JUSTICE NEEDS A HOME

justice.Jamie%20426.jpg

justice.jpg

JUSTICE IS A VERY GOOD FRIEND OF MINE. HE KNOWS BASIC COMMANDS (SIT, DOWN, STAY, FREE, LEAVE IT, COME, WAIT) THIS IS WRITTEN BY HIS PEOPLE:

We love this dog! He has been a part of our family for almost two years and we wish we could keep him! We are expecting our first baby, live in a small space with a tiny yard and just can’t give Justice what he needs. He needs a larger space with more room to explore and someone who can give him lots of exercise.
Justice is a 60lb Bassett Hound mix who loves all people and most other dogs. He knows basic commands. He loves to play with his tennis ball and enjoys tug-of-war. He loves to go to the beach and the dog park. He has lots of energy and needs daily exercise, lots of love and attention. He is really just a 60lb lap dog!
Justice will make a great addition to your life. He is loving, protective, fun, energetic and silly.

If you are interested please contact:
Tim @ 805-453-6171

JUSTICE SAYS, "I want another dog to play with, but not one that slobbers in the water bowl and place with different boxes of snacks."

Laura: Do you know why your family has to find you another home?

Justice: I know it is not because they do not love me. My mom and dad are very sad about it. I think it is because I take up so much room and I need more space. I also think it is because there is a baby coming and it will take up even more space. It is so sad that I have to leave my home, but my mom and dad know what is best for me and if they think this is the best thing than it is. It is sad to think I will not wake up to them everyday.

Laura: You people love you and they feel that someone else can give you more time. What do you want your new people to be like?

Justice: I want my new people to be happy to see me every time they come home. I want them to smell nice. I want them to know that I like little pieces of everything that they eat. I want them to know that I like the beach, but I don’t like my belly to have sand on it when I come home. I like to be wiped down with soft towel after I have been in the water. I want my people to love to be active. I love to go places. I don’t like to sit home all day long. But I have learned to stay home if I need to. I am not depressed; I would just rather see the world. I love when people pet me and look into my eyes and tell me how wonderful I am. So many people I meet love the way I look. I wonder if I could find a human with short legs and a long body. Then everyone would love the way both of us look. I like woman and men. Bicycles scare me a little bit because their wheels make me dizzy.

Laura: What are you thoughts about how sometimes a home is not the right home for a dog?

Justice: I think that I have it pretty good and my people have taught me to trust my people and to look to them for love and teachings. So I think that if my people say it could be better it must be really amazing in a new home. My mom and dad love each other so much and Spirit (other dog in house) and I love each other too, but we do not love each other the way mom and dad do. We get annoyed with each other. Which makes us both a little down. So if I found another friend who truly loves me than I can believe that I could be even happier.

Laura: Can you tell me more about you and Spirit’s relationship?

Justice: Sure, she is my big sister and at first I loved her and she hated me. Now she likes me. She likes to watch me run and she likes to watch the way I move my body. She thinks I am humorous, but she doesn’t think that I am smart. She thinks that I am a pain to the family. She says I don’t learn fast enough and I should pay closer attention. I think I do a very good job at paying attention so when Spirit tells me that I get really sad. I try really hard. She tells me I am bad and that mom and dad should leave me at the park and go home with out me. I know they would never do it and I know that she is joking, but it makes me sad that she thinks I don’t belong in the family. She says I am different from her. It’s hard, because I never feel good enough.
I know they love me, but I want to feel good enough all the time. So I guess that is what I want most out of my new people. I want to fit in. I am a really good boy. I really am.

I love this dog. Anyone who adopts him gets a free pet-psychic / training session.

Please contact Tim @ 805-453-6171 for more information on Justice

MOSS FINDS JOY IN HIS NEW HOME

moss.staffa.jpg
THIS WAS WRITTEN BY MOSS'S PERSON:

Moss was adopted into his forever home in Aug 2008 from a Border Collie rescue... Here is part of his reading in Nov 2008 - There is soo much to this story but these are some exerpts:
Laura asked him "why are you down and not joyful?"
Moss; I don’t know how to be joyful. I wonder when I will go to my next home. I am afraid of doing something wrong and being punished again.

Laura said Moss had always been out doors, never a family pet. He is still trying to grasp the concept of being out of the elements and being a family dog.

Laura asked him why doesn’t he play?
Moss: I don’t play because I got hit for playing and chewing a stick. I was also grabbed by his collar and hit with the stick. They also threw a can of coins at me when he was bad. (He still plays with himself - but likes to race around the back yard with me now - his Mom)

M: you mean they are going to keep me forever?
L; Yes
M: And I’ll never see sheep again? (was formerly being trained as a sheep herder before rescue)
L: No
M: Can they give me cheese?
L: Yes (And he loves it as a training aid - or just because)

YOGI & SULA

yogi__sula_1.jpgYogi is on the left and Sula is on the right.

Yogi talking about Sula: "I not sure about this puppy invading my quiet domain. I know he is dad's, and we are only babysitting, but he is wearing me out."

Sula saying to Yogi: "Can we just play and be friends, I am not a threat to you."

PISSANT LOVES DANCING WITH THE STARS!

pissant.jpg This is Pissant. She was peeing outside her litter-box. I had to explain to her why she was in the basement. She was very upset and said, "I need to be with my mom to hear the music and watch the dancing." It took some contemplating on her persons part when she realized Pissant was talking about watching Dancing With The Stars. Pissant is no longer peeing outside her litterbox and her and her mom are able to watch TV together once again!

DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS DOG, HER PERSON OR BREEDER?

violet.jpg My parents found this dog wandering the streets of Upper Montecito, CA back in February. They fell madly in love with her and named her Violet. They were on vacation and the rental did not allow pets so they could not keep her at their place while they searched for her true home. They had to bring her to the Santa Barbara County Shelter where she was claimed by her people. My parents want a dog just like her!

If anyone knows her people, her breeder or a dog that looks like her that needs a home, please contact me.

THIS RATTLESNAKE DOESN'T WANT TO FORGIVE

myrattlesnake.jpg"Get away from me or I will get you back!" I ran over this rattlesnake on a back country road. My friend (who drove a different car) helped me get the snake off the road. This rattlesnake knew that I was the driver of the car. When I would come close to him he would get angrier and tell me he was going to get me back.

TESTIMONIALS

Hi Laura,

Well, Maddi has been much calmer since you spoke with her. She doesn't spend her time searching the skies for flies. I think your reassurance that we will not hit her with a flyswatter has done the job. I had been telling her that, but your words really meant a lot to her.

Thanks a lot for your help, Jere

Laura, She is doing great. She has been a happy cat again. We both LOVE the new cat litter "world's best". No spraying at all, it is so wonderful to live in my house again without the smell. I can't thank you enough. I loving telling the story of how you helped us. Thank you so very much from both of us.
God Bless you
Tammy and Pissant

Dear Laura,
We met yesterday at Aloha Dog Grooming. You listened to Lammy for Eloise and me.
I have to tell you that I see Lammy in such a different light now... She really does have a mind and thoughts.
I know, duh!
But having you talk to her and watching you do it was very inspiring.
Thank you again for sharing your gift with us.
With love and blessings,
Linda

Hello Laura!

I just wanted to update, and thank you. After our appointment I had Will adjusted by a chiropractor, where he found 4 misplaced vertabrae in his neck.
I also feel that he and I are really starting to understand each other, now that I know what I'm listening for. He is trying very hard to be brave outside and focus in the show ring ( we just won our first recognized show and are preparing for the pinto world competition in 3 weeks!) While I am trying very hard to focus on what I am hearing from him, as well as other animals around me.

I feel maverick, and can pick out words... and feelings he sends my way. Thank you for helping us;
Again thank you for all of your help,
Ashley, Will and Maverick

ZUMA THE SNOW QUEEN

zumaballsnow.jpg"Sometimes I smell the snow and I want to play until my whole body hurts."

TANNER & I ARE REAL FRIENDS!

tannerbeach.jpgWe were at the beach one day and Tanner asked me out of the blue "Will you be my real friend?"

I asked "What do you mean, I am your friend?"

Tanner answered, "No, I mean my real friend. Like play with me more, say hello and give me a kiss on the forehead every time you see me."
