MAKIA ON MY DESK
This is my cat, Makia. I have asked her several times not to lie near my computer because of her fur. She exhibits her free will and says, "It is the best place to do my thinking and it is here that no one should disturb me."

"I Love driving because it gives me a reason to wake up in the morning. I was tired of just waking up to see the birds and to talk to my friends. I really want to drive at an event. I am very excited about the idea."
Roo is at the vet specialist. She injured herself and can no longer pee or poop by herself. She asks to me to tell her mom (person), "Please tell my mom not to worry about me. Tell her I love her and I am in good care. Tell her to take care of our children." Please send Roo blessings for a speedy recovery.
"What I like about my trainer is that she is connected to the big horse in the sky." and "I would like my dinner separated into three different buckets."
"In the middle of the night I yowl at the bottom of the staircase, because I want my people to come and carry me upstairs. I see shadows dancing at the top of the stairs and I don't want to have to walk through them." Kit Kat's people put a nightlight at the top of the stairs and now Kit Kat no longer yowls for her people and journeys up the stairs by herself.
"Do old friends always come back into your life?"
"I am a bully. I am tough. I’m getting older and someone may be alpha over me and I don’t want them to treat me like I treat them. I like being alpha because I like being the best at something. I don't think I was socialized when I was little, because of that most of the other horses won’t talk to me."
"I am the most talented polo pony because I think like the ball. I can tell where it is going to go. I am the best horse on the team."
Dear Laura,
My family feels very close to our animals. We even make up what they are saying. We feel we know them pretty well. But we don’t think we can talk to them like you can. Can you give us some ideas on how to communicate with them better?
Sincerely, Kimberly
"Shouldn't your create fear in others in order to gain respect?"
"Sometimes I notice when my mom (person) works her heart rate increases. She needs to drink more water. I come to her to tell her to take a moment to slow down. Then she can go back to work"
"The kibble that looks like starfish tastes good, but it irritates my skin."
This is Taisha. Her mom (person) gave me a list of questions to ask Taisha. After a few questions Taisha said to me, "I wish I could just read that list so that we could go over the questions that I like."
When Bailey was still alive he said to me, "Why do my people see death like squished snails. I see it like sunshine." His people would get upset when snails where stepped on on their walkway.
Party Time is a polo pony. She says, "I buck when people mount me, because I think that I am going to get stabbed by spurs on both sides."Her person does not wear spurs. This could be a result of old trauma. Read on to hear more about my session with Party Time.
Lucy & Gabe:
This is Mr. Squirrelly. His mate, Mrs. Squirrelly, has been run over by a car.
Read their story and hear what Mr. Squirrelly has to say:
This is Sayuri. She keeps eating strange inedible items. I told her that the objects she was eating could make her very sick and perhaps she could die. She replied, "Like how my dad shouldn't eat chocolate. But he does." Her person is a diabetic.

Dear Laura,
Do you think that animals see color?
Sincerely Jerry
