WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT MY SESSION WITH THEIR ANIMALS:
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT MY SESSION WITH THEIR ANIMALS:
Bear Hug says, "The reason I get up on the counter top is to look for milk or other goodies."
This is Savannah. She lived at the county shelter for many months. A volunteer has become her person and has spent a huge amount of time teaching Savannah to feel safe. Savannah says about learning basic commands, "I am happy it is learning instead of having to know."
For years, Milly sat on her eggs and none ever hatched. So this year her person sneaked an egg out from under Milly and replaced it with a new chick. The chick is a different breed and will be twice the size of Milly.
Milly says, "This is the best moment of my life! I got my own chickie! It came from my own belly!"
She says, "I don't mind having another dog in the house, but can we eat in separate rooms? I want to eat in the kitchen in my own corner."
Jaque lives in the best fowl home you can possible imagine. He is free to move around during the day and in a pen at night. He says, "Every since I was little I knew about this place in my dreams. It is like I have come home."
Sophie says, "Can we adopt a human so there is a human per dog?"
THIS IS FUZZY & ANGEL
Fuzzy, "I want a cow"
Angel, "I want a job where I make people smile."
Rose has one of the most sorrowful stories I have ever heard. She has withstood a huge amount of brutal torture and neglect. I will tell more of a story in another post. Here she says, "I have a new friend who is a chicken. She keeps me company and we kind of look a like." Do you see her chicken friend here? She is under Rose's head.
Allie's sister Amber, another golden, recently died in her sleep of old age. Allie says, "I saw Amber's spirit run up a ray of light up to heaven. I wanted to follow her, but she turned around and told me I must stay." I asked Allie what could make her feel more secure since Amber is gone and she says, "I miss Amber's tags jingling. Maybe my mom (person) could wear them on our walks."
"I would like to do something with my mom (person). Maybe she could make a needle point of me. She is very careful with her hands....When I was on the streets I was so hungry I even ate lettuce....When we are at the cabin I dream I am a wild cat...daddy smells nice at night."
There was speculation that Yogi's family's old house had a spirit. He says, "I thought ghosts attached themselves to people. I am glad it is with houses. Don't you love my new house. This is my mom (looks at his person) and this is my new house."
"My spine knows pain and my mind knows clarity. I choose clarity over pain pills. Please no more pharmaceuticals." Sometimes Bruin hides behind the couch when we have a session. This day he says, "I am glad you came over so I can tell you I don't hate you."
Pluto is 11 years old. She still runs 6 miles with her person's friend. When asked if she would like to ride part of the 6 miles in a cart she says, "Oh yes, I would ride in a cart." She also thought, "Mom should plant big tomatoes in the back yard."
He was rescued out of a house that had over 24 cats. He says, "It is better to have one cat than many so you can pay attention to the one." At home he would like, "A bird feeder up high." I met Milo in the office of the pet store Noah's Apothecary. He says about the office, "This room is fascinating. It needs some color in it."
Sabur's name means patience. He says, "I don't believe in patience because patience is waiting." He also says, "This is my third home. I have found that if you run away you can always find a better one. I could stay here forever."
"The kitties in my family are jealous of me because I am perfect."
